With Barry Turner out for the season, could we be seeing Baker Steinkuhler soon?
Tags: Barry Turner, Bo PeliniThe Huskers have just three experienced defensive ends after Turner suffered a broken left leg on Saturday. Because of the situation, and with so much season remaining, freshmen Josh Williams and Cameron Meredith become candidates to join them.
“You’re probably going to see somebody different out there that’s going to be getting some reps,” NU coach Bo Pelini said Monday, “and bringing some other guys along who we weren’t planning on using.”
Asked specifically who that might be, Pelini said: “We don’t know yet. It’s a little too early to tell.”
