Nebraska gets another Texas recruit and, as an added bonus, steals a Kansas commit!

It's hard to preach 'discipline' and 'self-control' when you have a FUPA.

Earnest Norman, the 28th ranked ILB in the nation, has committed to the Huskers after seeing the Sea of Red in Lincoln this weekend.

This is what we’ve got going for us: one of the greatest atmospheres in all of college football. You cannot underestimate that. Couple that with a bad-ass coach named Pelini, and you got yourselves a good thing going.

And the best part, he sounds like a good ‘ole football player:

He lacks ideal size and speed measurables on paper but plays fast and physical on the field and is just a good, solid football player. Consistently around the ball making plays and shows great instincts on both run and pass support. Very versatile defender playing both inside and outside LB as well as safety. Diagnoses the play quickly and gets a fast jump on the football. Shows little wasted motion tracking down ball carriers. Flashes great sideline-to-sideline range and closing speed.
